I got this recipe many years ago from a colleague and friend and it's been a standard dish ever since in our family. Not exactly sure how this type of pumpkin is called in english, I found many different terms: red kuri squash, sugar pumpkin or Hokkaido pumpkin (that's how we call it in germany).
