Right now, it is cold and rainy, so my escape to prettier vistas and faraway places is what I see on Instagram. I sit in my warm house surrounded by my pets and scroll accounts revealing bustling Vietnamese markets, camper vans rolling through deserts, or Swiss villages tucked aside mountains. One of my favorite accounts is that of @midlifeinvintage and @maxsiegel_.Two very fashionable folks living in Hastings by the sea with their three dogs. I illustrated a fictional version of their love story where the expanses of the ocean allow for endless possibilities - oh, how I long for warmer days.
