The Great Outdoors!

If you’ve never been to Iceland you should definitely add it to your bucket list.

I had the good fortune of traveling there some years back with a group of friends and we saw and experienced a wide variety of the amazing, other-worldly landscapes that Iceland has to offer. Everything from waterfalls, to black sand beaches to glaciers and moon-like terrain. It was beautiful and eerie and magical. Like nothing I’ve ever seen.

As I was contemplating what sort of outdoor landscape to create for this challenge, Iceland immediately popped into my mind. This illustration is inspired by the sweet, little houses, towering mountains, geothermal "smoke stacks," vast starry skies and wide, open roads I experienced. I highly recommend a visit there.
