Leon and Lola wanted to share their yummy dark chocolate chip cookies recipe and asked me if I could post it online for them so here it is!
They advise to experiment with the baking time since every oven is different but as a general rule, taking them out before they are golden brown will give you soft cookies whereas leaving them a bit longer will result in crunchy cookies (Lola's favourites!).
Most importantly, have fun making them!!!
Molasses Ginger Cookies are one of my favorites, especially at the Christmas holiday. I've made these cookies so many times over the years. I make them for my Dad, who also loves molasses cookies. I have wonderful memories of my Mom baking when I was a child. She was the inspiration for this illustration to go with my cookie recipe.
I created this right after watching Salli's Webinar! I wanted to try a simple recipe to get started. It really fun to do and maybe a bit addicting so now I'm on the lookout for more brownie recipes because next to lemon squares, nothing beats a brownie to brighten up my day!
I spend a lot of time baking and that mostly comes from my mother. Every year she buys me weird cookie cutter shapes and my favorite has been a unicorn! I love sugar cookies because they're very customizable and fun!
This was for Rebecca Bradley's illustrating the edible class at MICA.
