A selection of the finest cheese spiced up with slices of chorizo, cheese scones, rosemary and sauteed pears! Pairing these plates with baroque style layered tablecloths, dark and rich colours of fabric and the finest silverware, nothing can go wrong!
As a youngster, I took life-drawing classes at the Art Students League in Manhattan. Class started promptly at 5:00; since school let out at 3:00, there was just enough time to grab a bite at the nearby cafeteria before class. My favorite item on the menu? Their date nut bread! (There were so many dates in the sandwich; I could hardly taste any bread!) That experience turned me into a lifetime lover of dates. This recipe is very simple with only two ingredients; the sweetness of the dates beautifully compliments the tartness of the goat cheese. Enjoy!
Ok, I confess, I haven’t made fondue since the 80’s -when it was all the rage🙄 But this is an Easy, kid friendly recipe. Feel free to doctor it up to your liking. And now - more than ever- NO double dipping please!
For the "Gratefull" theme I wanted to show one of my favorite things ever, a cheeseboard! And since we cannot travel right now, I wanted to highlight some of the more famous cheeses from around the world - cheddar from England, Mozzarella from Italy, Manchego from Spain, etc.
Happy Drawing (and Cooking)!
Pizza would be the best way to enjoy cheese!
I'm vegan but still I can enjoy "cheese" topped pizza.
There are many different dairy free "cheese" options, such as meltable "cheese" and vegan "mozzarella" etc.
I also love topping tomatoes, basil, olives, mushrooms, onions, peppers and some more.
