Farmers Market by Bryony Halsted
Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, GBI love seeing lots of lovely veggies on display at the farmers market. I love the colours, textures and scents of the home grown vegetables. These are some of my favourites.

Tins and Things by Bryony Halsted
Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, GBStore cupboard ingredients throw up some interesting combinations. I can rustle up some OK store cupboard dinners as long as I still have my trusty pots of herbs just outside my back door to use too!

Cool BEANS by Bryony Halsted
Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, GBMy illustration is aimed at encouraging people to use dry beans in recipes, by presenting the easy method of cooking them. I love the variety of dry beans available, so I've illustrated a few of the different shapes colours and sizes (from adzuki to black eyed peas, from pinto beans to black beans). As many middle eastern recipes use pulses in the cooking I have decorated the page with appropriate patterns and warm terracotta colours.

Scotch Pancakes by Bryony Halsted
Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, GBFood Memory! These are a family favourite from when I was young, my Mum makes the best piles of hot scotch pancakes on her AGA, and we would gorge ourselves on them as quick as she could make them!

Lentil and Peanut Butter Croquettes by Bryony Halsted
Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, GBA family favourite recipe I grew up with, which incorporates all those child-favourite flavours such as grated cheese and some peanut butter, coated in yummy crispy breadcrumbs! (Things to endear them to if they're 'unsure' about those lentils!) A hearty, healthy, veggie alternative to sausages.
