Bio:

I’ve always been a creative person, and love working with paper and my hands. I studied fine art and creative writing and my teenage-self wanted to be a painter and a poet—but then I realized I enjoyed drawing and telling stories in prose much more, and was way better at it, so I settled into short story writing and printmaking/drawing instead. Once I graduated, this love of words and images made publishing a perfect fit, so I’ve spent over 16 years combining the written word with illustrations and visuals as a way to keep working with both! Lettering (drawing words and text) is also a great way for me to keep me working with both words and images. Illustration and graphic design is the perfect way to combine my love of drawing with fun projects to help clients and give innovative fun solutions.
