My family loves marinara. I think I have a love-hate relationship with tomatoes.. Pesto is my answer to all the tomatoes that I get subjected to.. I love pistachios and zucchini. This is a comfort food I can dig into anytime ... too bad if my waist line groans.. Oh, I have sneaked in some tomatoes into this one .. just for color. He is not invited to be part of the official recipe 😊 There is no garlic in the recipe too, as sometimes I restrict the use of garlic in my cooking. Feel free to add in some chopped garlic, if you love your pastas garlicky..
What would a picnic for wee little ones look like without adults around? These munchkins are having a blast playing with food and have some animals joining their fun picnic. I was reminded of my daughter’s early years when she would fuss over any food we fed her, but would happily eat what we gave her if we left her alone with food. She would play with food and create a royal mess for me to clean up, but she would end up eating. I drew some of her favorite snacks/ food when she was a wee little one 😀
Tangy , full of crunch , protein and texture, this salad is a much loved recipe at my house. I loved illustrating this recipe digitally. The borders feature Indian designs called Rangoli/kolam that are decorative drawings done in rice flour or colored powder to adorn the entrances of homes. When done in rice flour, these designs become food for little creatures like ants.
