When I heard Jas would begin hosting these cooking events at a new place she was renting downtown, at the heart of La Latina in Madrid, and to gather people around the joy of sharing a meal, I knew I had to get in touch with her, to try and somehow make it into this new venture of hers. Lucky me, her food styling work is incredible, and, so, it was very easy for me to illustrate it and to present it to her as a sort of art proposal for her project. She loved it!
Because other than food styling she does recipe writing, I have chosen to go very minimal with the wording, to have it work just as drawings, or even scribbles.
