Suzanne de NiesLochem, Gelderland, NL
For as long as she can remember, Suzanne de Nies has been drawing.
When she was a little girl she colored the drawings her father made for her.
He encouraged her to draw, “You just have to look carefully, put your pencil on the paper and follow the lines you see.” Since that moment she has never stopped.
Her sketchbooks and illustrations are like a visual diary, they are inspired by everything that surrounds her: places, books, movies, music and her favorite recipes.
Suzanne lives in The Netherlands with her husband and 3 children
When she isn't drawing or painting, she spends her free time either with a book or in the kitchen.
She loves baking and cooking, but particularly loves the memories of sharing home made goodness with family and friends.
