Bio:

Hi, my name is Christy Chong, and I'm a freelance illustrator and designer based in Queens, NY. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a background in Fine Art and Textiles. I've worked in the fashion industry as a designer for the last 10 years, designing cut & sew knits and denim styles from concept to production for mass market brands in the Missy, Junior, and Kids department, .

What I loved most about working as a fashion designer was drawing all of the beautiful garments and the sketching process. This realization was the catalyst that helped me pivot into my current line of work as an illustrator. I bring my love for fashion, food, fun colors, feminism, and interiors into my art.

When I'm not drawing, you can find me cooking, sewing, crocheting, or playing with my cat!
