Inspired by Melissa Clark of the NY Times, I felt called upon to celebrate one of my most favorite dishes. Shrimp Scampi! There is something so extravagant & celebratory when you get to use SO many shrimps! She is wonderful in her video recipe, especially when she defines the difference between a shrimp and langoustine. Have a look, you won’t be disappointed by the recipe or her narration-Delicious!

Mango! Mango! Mango! Ode to a family recipe. Champagne Mangoes are my favorite fruit. Handed down from mother to daughter, it was a delight to watercolor & collage mangoes for this family recipe. The vivid colors of India, illuminate the ingredients that compose this mouthwatering accompaniment.

A Cherry Point Restaurant Recipe Collaboration~
Recipe by: Julian Calcott & Ed Szymanski
This recipe was inspired by Cherry Point Restaurant, a bright star in Brooklyn newcomer eateries. Dreamed up by Julian Calcott & Ed Szymanski of Cherry Point, this salad is deceivingly “simple”. It was a delight to illustrate all the elements of taste that make up this lips smacking dish.
