The recipe I chose is the recipe of Thai Tea Latte, a traditional Thailandese tea to Matcha Latte. It is made by condensed milk with Thai tea - an oolong tea. I chose to illustrate this recipe because it reminds me of my recent trip.
I remember the hot and humidity of this summer, trying to search relief you can buy a lot of these teas in all the stall and markets.
The recipe is very simple, the only ingredients it needs are tea, condensed milk, sugar and ice.
This is my entry to the first HandPicked Challenge, Eat the Rainbow. Instead of going the usual route of drawing fruits and veggies, I opted to illustrate another colorful and healthy group—teas! As an avid tea drinker, I really had fun doing research and illustrating the herbs, spices, and fruits that make up my favorite tea blends.
Kahwa tea is one such beverage which is an amazing combination of delicious taste, aroma and a bundle of health benefits.Kahwa is an exotic mix of Kashmiri green tea leaves, whole spices, nuts and saffron, which was traditionally prepared in a brass kettle known as samovar. The samovar has a central cavity where hot coal is placed while the surrounding space is reserved for boiling the water and other ingredients for the tea.
