Easy to make, and goes down easy! Last Christmas, I couldn't find the peppermint vodka that I like, because our local distributor stopped carrying it. So I tried making my own. This recipe is fun and a great introduction to the art of making your own liqueurs. Cheers!
A delicious candy cane martini, perfect for your holiday parties! This drink is very festive and pretty with it's crushed peppermint candy rim and pink hue, it will get everyone in a very merry mood! The combination of vanilla, peppermint, white chocolate and a splash of pomegranate will have all your party goers coming back for seconds!
Nothing reminds me of winter holidays more than the scent and flavor of peppermint. Even our Christmas tree is a collection of red and white swirled ornaments and lights in honor of peppermint. The peppermint flavor of these meringues is in the crushed candy cane topping; for a little extra holiday color you can also crush green striped mint candies. You can also add a very small amount of peppermint extract to the meringues but do it sparingly; too much can affect how the meringue sets up.
