Halo Halo is a staple desert to my filipino heritage. Though it can be interpreted in many ways it can also be combined with a culmination of sweet treats, just make sure you keep the Ube cream! I'm a current student at CIA and I was beyond excited to create an illustration for this site as well as the general idea of choosing a recipe!
Golden Milk by IvyBristol, GB
Sharing my favourite hot beverage when the cold days are kicking in & I just would like to stay in bed all day for the whole winter..... the secret ingredient for surviving the cold months to come: Golden Milk!
Easy to make, convenient to have on hand, anti-inflammatory, sugar-free
& super tasty! Just boiling the spices and milk (any milk) until they will have a smooth, creamy texture. Enjoy! And share with friends.....
Creating an illustration for this recipe was so fun! I'm currently missing Savannah (where I attend school), and there is this coffee shop I would always get lavender latte's at. So, while quarantined, I thought it would be a fun treat to recreate it at home! This recipe will be sure to soothe and warm your insides!
Since I've been on gluten-free diet, I'm looking for good recipes especially for baking. I have always backed a lot and now I'm trying to find up it how to prepare a good bread / cake / desserts without normally, gluten flour. It hasn't to be complicated or to taste... you know. ;) So I decided to collect all my recipes I tried till now and found it good. Here is the first one, enjoy!
When I saw the prompt for the next challenge, I immediately thought of Mac and Cheese. This is a recipe that I have been making for years for my family. I wanted a different kind of illustration than the 1st challenge and I started thinking about how Mac and Cheese was created. I tend to have a quirky sense of humor, and this was what popped into my head!
