This is my personal take on cookies that melt in your mouth: they feel like they're full of lemon cream, with a crunchy outside that's a bit spicey and sugary at the same time. Plus they look super pretty.
Its very nearly elderflower season. Adding a dash of this this terrific aromatic syrup is like summer in a glass, ice lolly or cocktail. And its so easy to make. It will keep for 6 weeks in the fridge.
