This berrie smoothy is a great day to start your day very healthy! It has a high level of antioxidants and other nutrients. The nutritional value of all the berries are increased in smoothies as no heat is added and nutrients are not removed.
Hm... I think I've chosen this recipe 'cos in my 'wird' head I have instantly had a funny Xmas story twist on the whole deal of how Santa magically manages to slide down the chimney every year when I read the healthy effects this smoothie has over at YouBeauty.com :D So my thought was -aaahhh, he might have a special magical recipe he uses...:D
If you cant find dulce de leche you can get it by boiling a can of condensed milk for a couple of hours, Take care to have the can always covered by water and to let it cool down before opening it. Later on I will post an original homemade recipee of this particular sweet caramel which is so typical in my country.
This was done as an assignment for MICA's Illustrating the Edible class. My dog back at home is quite the beggar, always trying to snatch food from our plates. Her favorite foods are warm starchy, fatty foods. My mom cooks this meal when it's real cold out, and it's always warming and filling. It's especially good on top of rice!
