A classic cookie with some family history! This cookie was actually created by my great grandmother, Freda Smith. She entered it into the Pillsbury baking competition in 1957. My mother grew up with this cookie, and she often baked it for my siblings and I! It is very simple to make and very delicious!
Created for CCAD Illustration class.
Chocolate truffles are a type of chocolate confectionery, made from chocolate ganache coated with chocolate, cocoa powder or chopped toasted nuts (generally hazelnuts, almonds or coconut), and usually come in a spherical shape.
There's no holiday celebrated more by pandas than Chinese New Year, and there is no food that says "party!!!" more than Fire Monkey Cuppycakes. Make these fire-y chocolate cuppycakes to bring the Year of the Monkey in, in style!
This is one of my favourite treat recipes!
The great thing about it is that 1) it is ultra simple and super quick to make, and 2) it is guilt-free, (well... it depends what topping and how much of it you use) healthy (90% of it is fruit), and tasty.
I recommend using dark chocolate for a yummilicious result but feel free to experiment with toppings and base (fruit)!
Works well as a dessert, all year round, and very popular with kids!
