I was recently introduced to this delicious drink by a friend on a very cold day. It's so comforting and warming, perfect in wintertime. This is the way I make it at home and have it in my favourite mug.
The illustration is created with mixed media.
This ridiculously easy to make peanut sauce is slightly spicy and full of options. Use it as a dipping sauce for veggies, spring rolls, satay or add it to your stir-fry. Keeps well in the fridge for 4 days so you can have it on hand for leftover rice or spread it on your morning toast with fresh basil and be instantly transported to another continent.
This mixed media collage features the savory components of a popular Thai sauce that complements a noodle bowl of carrots, red pepper, purple cabbage, fragrantThai basil, cilantro, and lime. All of the ingredients are in colored pencil and overlay a background of a Thai lion and floral elements executed in marker ink.
This cake tastes best when eaten warm and fresh, or toasted with a dab of butter, or cold when you're driving somewhere early in the morning. It tastes healthy when you're stuffed up and decadent when you're dipping it in chocolate. It pairs well with cold milk, hot coffee, any kind of wine, and even the stale heel dipped in hot tea is a treat.
