This recipe is a great way to involve children in the kitchen during the Holidays. We tried this last year for the first time and the whole family had a lot of fun putting together these little treats.
Just remember: kids will be kids (adults included), so expect the kitchen to be decorated everywhere with sprinkles and cream by the end of it.
Everything I love about summer in a quick and easy breakfast. If you have the jam prepared beforehand, it's just a matter of slicing up some polenta and frying it in a pan. And, of course, slathering with (a dab?) of butter and a (healthy) dose of maple syrup. Topped with fresh strawberries and chia jam, it's as close to perfection as an early summer morning can get.
