Proja (pronounced like Proia) is a Serbian dish I know all my life. I ate it and made it for birthdays, Christmas, funerals and no-occasions at all! There are many versions of it around Balkans but this one with feta cheese (any strong sheep or goat cheese) is my all time favorite. Give it a go - I promise you will impress whoever you need to impress ;)

Me and some friends made this recipe while we were visiting another state. We had spent the majority of our money on necessities and were craving something cheap and savory. Thus, this savory, cheesy sandwich was born!
So many cheeses in Switzerland, and such good wine, there are wonderful combinations, this is one of them, Pinot Noir from the mountains of Graubünden and the very famous Emmental cheese with it's delicious spicy taste and of course, the unmissable holes.
This is a very uncomplicated and delicious recipe for a quiche. I cheat a little bit and use ready-made puff pastry instead of doing the dough by myself. You can use any kind of vegetables and also any kind of cheese. I like my quiche with feta cheese and gouda.
Every summer we spend at our summer cottage in the middle of beautiful limestone landscape. Near the capital Prague, but only fields, meadows, woods and farms surround us. We have farm eggs from our friends, we have farm milk from old lady living next vilage, we have own vegetables and eat all our greens :-) This is summer of my childhood!
