I made this recipe on Thanksgiving and it was a really nice alternative to mash potatoes. Top off with cranberry relish and you will forget about the existence of potatoes all together. This recipe has a winter feel to it, but I wanted to keep the illustration nondenominational.

If you cant find dulce de leche you can get it by boiling a can of condensed milk for a couple of hours, Take care to have the can always covered by water and to let it cool down before opening it. Later on I will post an original homemade recipee of this particular sweet caramel which is so typical in my country.
