I think chocolate is one of the most incredible inventions in the history of mankind. I especially love bitter ones with a hint of spicy chili! This combination wonderfully works on ice pop recipes, too! You might think I just made up this yummy hills by my imagination, right? But the place called "Chocolate Hills" really exists in the Filippines!!! and cute little tarsiers(the smallest primate on earth) are living there :)))
I created this recipe during a work assignment in the province of Cambodia some years ago. During that time, butter was a rare treat and so I had to substitute it with vegetable oil. But all the same, these are delicious. All I need is a quick 10 minutes preparation!
This is the recipe we use for more than a decade now. For one it is living family food history, as it got translated and then tweaked until it perfectly fit our tastes, for the other it is just plain delicious. These brownies are sweet, dark chocolate-y, chewy, super easy to make, and perfect for a quick fix of a "chocolate-now"-craving. Wherever we bring them, we get asked for the recipe.
