Part of the someday cookbook "The PandaChronicles Cuppycake Cookbook: Favorite Recipes of the Panda Kindergarten," this is Princess Pinky's favorite recipe. For those not in the know, Princess Pinky is the cartoon alter ego of Bao Bao, the two year old panda cub at the National Zoo in Washington DC
Delicate yet intense like screen legend Louise Brooks. One of my favorites, Louise Brooks was a bit ahead of her time and somewhat contrary. I'd like to share my Christmas dessert with you! :)
It has no memorable smell or cheerful colours but it does taste sweet as heaven! Just one small piece and you'll feel the joy!
You can find this recipe (and some variations) in Brazil with different names (for instance, Torta Paulista). But, at my home, I'm used to wait for this Pavé, prepared with love by my mom, during every Holiday season, since I was a child.
PS: You can make up to 10 people happy with this recipe!
