Peas Louise! A delicate yet intense pea soup by Angie Cornelius - Savor & Quirke
Chicago, IL, USDelicate yet intense like screen legend Louise Brooks. One of my favorites, Louise Brooks was a bit ahead of her time and somewhat contrary. When submitting an illustration for peas, the first thing that came to mind was "Peas Louise" instead of "Geez Louise." A simple starter that works with fresh or frozen peas and a minimum of ingredients. Marker and colored pencil art by Angie Cornelius of Lonesome Road Studio.

Pavé Dulce de Leche by Malu Lenzi
berlin, DEI'd like to share my Christmas dessert with you! :)
It has no memorable smell or cheerful colours but it does taste sweet as heaven! Just one small piece and you'll feel the joy!
You can find this recipe (and some variations) in Brazil with different names (for instance, Torta Paulista). But, at my home, I'm used to wait for this Pavé, prepared with love by my mom, during every Holiday season, since I was a child.
PS: You can make up to 10 people happy with this recipe!
