A scene from the time I visited Switzerland and had the best breakfast ever with an even better view of snow capped mountains and green grass.
This illustration is done from the Learn Along Color exercise using the 3 color palette. Quite challenging but had fun with the process!
Ramen is one of my favorite comfort food for chilly weather! I love the hot rich pork or chicken flavored broth, chewy noodles and all the possible add-ons to ramen soup. Also, ramen bowls are so much fun to eat, each bite is a delicious combination of new textures and flavors!
Indonesian traditional snack usually consist of : glutinous rice, coconut milk, shredded coconut, palm sugar, and... colored green (pandan leaves flavored). It is kind of typical snack around Malaysia, Thailand, and neighboring South East Asia.
Of course we have snack that has no characters above, but that still consider as traditional Indonesian, because it have been known in the archipelago for really long time. Usually those are snacks that we've adopt during colonial era, or even older than that! Sometimes that particular food stray so far away from the original food, but still hold the same name! Or visa versa!
Who wouldn't want to stroll by a little bakery to see Cupcakes and Chocolates! This delicious Dessert Menu is filled with many tasty bakery treats. The Dessert Menu depicts each little dessert that is shown through the glass window of this divine bakery!
The better the bread...the better the toast. There is something satisfying about the humble, simple slice of bread that is perfectly toasted and slathered with creamy butter. You can of course upgrade to make it as fancy as you wish...but sometimes simple is sublime!
Even though I am gluten-free, I'm not sure there is a cozier thing on planet Earth than a spot of jam on toast. All the glittering colours of jam, the satisfying crunch and the homey smell of freshly toasted bread. I wanted to capture that feeling in this illustration.
Crab 'n dumpling is a traditional dish of Trinidad and Tobago. The ingredients include curry and coconut milk. The steamed wheat dumplings are flat, round and stiff. It's super yummy! (like much of the food from this beautiful twin-island republic). I am sharing an illustrated poem. Bon appétit!
