Food is such a great way to tell stories & recipes more so! This is a little tribute to a wonderful sunshine-soul of a friend we lost recently. Vicky loved food. It was his life. He also touched everyone else’s life with his innovative & creative recipes; from sizzling mushroom & ricotta pan-pizzas to candied fruit cake & coconut coffee; Vicky had a wonderful way of adding the most unique twists to the simplest of recipes. I know it sounds crazy but this is the most delicious ice cream I have ever tasted!
For a long time I've been dreaming of a kind of salty ice cream. I love yogurt ice cream but most of them are really sweet and not exactly my thing. And then this magical Italian guy appeared in my hometown and started making the most incredible ice cream!
The creaminess of the Pecorino cheese and heavy cream, the crunchy bacon on top (I know, right!?) and a pinch of black pepper takes you taste buds on an unforgettable journey!

This recipe is my Mothers. This was my way of wishing her a Happy Mother's Day. I illustrated a recipe she is known for. Love you Mom.

Gluten-Free / Vegan - This is the best tasty treat on a hot Florida day, especially when the kids are around! This recipe was a blast to make with my mom as a kid. I remember picking the best mango off the tree in the backyard to save it for the popsicles that we would make later. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do, so gather up your favorite colored fruit and get to making!

Recipe for chocolate mousse with coconut and hazelnuts

paan are betel leaves which are commonly consumed in South East Asia. People eat it areca nut but there’s also a version that’s popular as a mouth freshener/sweetener/palate cleanser. It’s called meetha paan (sweet paan). This refreshing ice cream has all the flavors of meetha paan and is so refreshing on a hot day. And the best part? It’s surprisingly easy to make in 10 minutes.
