Superfruits by @aireescreates
Binan, Laguna, PHSuper Food Entry
I love the farmer’s market scene I saw in Florence, Italy that it inspired me to draw in this style. This is also a reminder for me to try these fruits because it’s a shame I only eat pomegranate from this list! 🙈
Also, I hope more and more people would support farmer’s markets and buy without the plastic packaging that we see in the supermarkets and bring your own bag, too!

Discover Your Rainbow by Becca Boyce
Barcelona, Catalunya, ESThere is no doubt eating a rainbow is healthy for you, but don’t forget to eat local for the health of our planet too!
It’s always tempting to look to the exotic or tropical when eating a more vibrant plate, but I wanted to celebrate more local produce, including delicacies such as milkcap mushrooms, padrón peppers and yummy calçots, with many icons inspired directly by my own little garden.
I hope you enjoy my rainbow, and have fun discovering the rainbow in your own backyard!

Handpicked: Eat the Rainbow (Ancient Greece) by K. Worsham
Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USThough famous for their olive dishes, the ancient Greeks ate a variety of squash, fruits like pomegranates, figs, and grapes, plenty of fish, and hearty grains. Sardines were the fish of the common folk. Though they kept many goats (who are versatile and good on terrains with poor vegetation) they rarely ate them as they saw it as a waste of good milk. Instead, when goats were killed, they were frequently used as sacrifices to the gods.
