This recipe was passed down from my mom and her family. She was born in Italy and I come from a 100% Italian family, so you can't get any more authentic!
With too little time on my itching-to-draw-a-recipe-hands I doodled a quicky!
Yes! The cake's simply celestial! And you can read more about coincidences, cakes, the Transit of Venus and the history of science on Pâticheri: http://wp.me/p1On0G-hQ
Pear Salad is easy peasy, you'll be on the patio enjoying your summer evening lickity split!
It's not just he looks nice... He tastes so nice!!
This recipe comes from my grandmother who used to call them Elephant Turds just for the grandkids. Even though it sounds like an "adult cookie" it was always one of my favorites growing up.
This chutney goes really well breads, rotis, snacks.
I've been tweaking this recipe over time (white sugar vs brown sugar, salt or no salt, etc) and I can confidently say these are the best peanut butter cookies I've ever made.
This is good with chickpeas instead of peanuts and also with some chaat masala powder sprinkled on top. Serve at tea time with tea, of course!
You can also add in TOFU to 'beef' it up a little.
Hope you like it :)
