Tasty Banana Bread by Caitlin Scheib
Cincinnati, Ohio, USThis is the recipe my dad always uses to make banana bread. It's so tasty and delicious, and the bread doesn't dry out quickly! It's great to have any time of the year, whether how it it, or heating it up and putting some butter on top!
Easy Broccoli Recipe for Kids by Steph Calvert
Atlanta, Georgia, USI was inspired to create this easy broccoli recipe for kids by a recent #theyDrawLearnAlong. Salli and Nate talked about different ways to draw broccoli, and I decided to pull together a bunch of the elements I created for the recipe idea at the end.
I'm currently at the end of my studio day, my kids are antsy for me to be done on my computer (so my son can play Roblox lol), and thinking about my kids while I wrapped up this layout made me think about their personal relationship with vegetables. And well I got a little ridiculous with it because I'm sure you moms out there with picky eaters can relate. LOL?

Kasespatzle by hellbender atelier
Meadville, PA, USMy sister brought this amazing version of "macaroni and cheese" back with her from Germany, and it is the ultimate comfort food! It's simple and absolutely delicious! She uses Emmental cheese, but if you can't find that in your local grocery store (I usually cannot) gruyere or swiss are still delicious options!
Happiness Is Chips & Guac! by LisaFullerStudio
PATTERSON, CA, USThis burst of yum illustrates one of my great loves. A simple appetizer or snack for some is a perfectly proper happy meal for me. The creamy avocado with a punch of heat, coupled with the satisfying saltiness of a perfectly toasted chip. *runs for kitchen* 😋
My Happy Meal - Onam Sadya (India) by Shikha Nambiar
Bangalore, Karnataka, INMalayali food has a special place in my heart and the Onam Sadya has always been the yearly delight I eagerly wait for. This grand meal is served on a banana leaf and can have up to 30 items sometimes. Last year due to the lockdown, we decided to cook this meal on our own and managed to put together 20 things, much to our delight. To prepare for this, I usually skip (or have a very light) breakfast to have enough space in my tummy to devour all the delicacies, Can't wait for the festival to come around again.

Qutab- herbs filled flat bread. by madebysadagat
Des Moines, Iowa, USQutab is one of the most loved dishes in Azerbaijan. There are wide variety of qutabs. You can make it with meat, squash, potatoes, etc. My favorite one is greens/herbs filled one. You can add as many herbs/greens as you wish to the filling. The vast variety of the herbs make qutab ever delicious. It's favorable dish to make on spring and summer seasons when there are abundance of greens. When I was a child I lived in a small village on the shore of the Caspian see. My family grew most of our produce in our yard. If you walked through the streets of the village during summer afternoons, you could smell delicious aroma of qutab in every neighborhood.
The smell of qutab, whenever I prepare it, always takes me back to my childhood. Hope you too will make and enjoy this recipe.

Grandma Alice's Mac & Cheese by Jennifer L. Wambach
Aurora, IL, USThis recipe came from my mother in law and has been a making people happy at least since my husband was a kid. Probably because there's nothing weird in the recipe: no onion powder or bread crumbs or paprika; things a picky kid would be likely to notice and throw an epic tantrum over. It just makes really good classic macaroni and cheese every single time. Leftovers are great, too!
Note: The original recipe as written didn't have measurements, so every time I cook it I don't measure out anything except the cheese, which comes in 8 oz blocks. So I've estimated the other ingredients when writing it down here.
