is a classic italian dessert that means "ice cream drowned in espresso", serve the ice cream and the espresso separate. The actual pouring of the coffe is part of the DRAMA of serving an affogato - the "drowning" of the ice cream :-) .... for - play around: "CHILL OUT"
I said, “Pass the crackers,” but they heard, “Call the quackers and in split seconds my kitchen “helpers” flapped in laughter and chaos. Zooming just over the sugar bags and bins in “clappity-slaps,” they honked something about making punch! With beady eyes on mission they shouted, “We’re here to help!” Ok, so maybe they can help unlike their buddies in previous posts. Usually if my critters are not dropping stuff they’re stomping up flour clouds and drumming up great grief for me, not making cupcakes. BUT in this case if you want to enjoy the best punch ever please dive in with the ducks. This is delish and I’m not even a coffee drinker. Thanks to my friend, Sandra, and this concoction, that may change!
In the summertime, to keep us cool, my Mom always made us these treats. Graham crackers were good for the outer sandwiches, and so were chocolate chip cookies. Neapolitan ice cream was always a hit at our house. I loved pistachio! Any flavor really would hit the spot and keep us chill in the summer heat! 🍪🍧🍡
Who doesn't love Italian coffee and treats?!

paan are betel leaves which are commonly consumed in South East Asia. People eat it areca nut but there’s also a version that’s popular as a mouth freshener/sweetener/palate cleanser. It’s called meetha paan (sweet paan). This refreshing ice cream has all the flavors of meetha paan and is so refreshing on a hot day. And the best part? It’s surprisingly easy to make in 10 minutes.

First time visiting an aquarium with our daughter, it's during our recent trip in Osaka. Greeted by a tunnel once entering. Enjoyed looking at variety of species available, magnificent views. We had a limited edition soft serve ice cream in the cafe. It's an unforgettable experience for us.
Fave Memory - by Susan Long - A memory of what I would have considered the dream diet when I was a kid! Pizza, chicken nuggets dipped in honey, ICEE, pop, gumdrops, orange slice candies, caramel cubes, pixie sticks, kid cereal, kool aid, buttery popcorn and soft serve ice cream. I could have lived on this stuff! While it's not my preference these days... the thought of these foods take me back to special treats and celebrations of my childhood!
One of Mom's many famous deserts was her individual Baked Alaskas. She usually made them with French Vanilla ice cream (Dad's favorite), but I thought it would be fun to pair the pineapple and coconut with raspberry ice cream instead.
