IT'S ALL GREEK TO ME! Corfu - a Greek island I know from Gerald Durrel books - has been a place i've longed to visit since I was a kid. Maybe someday I will be able to see the island in life, but it remains quite vivid in my imagination. Here, i've tried to illustrate the Koum Kouat liqueur of Corfu. "It is a pleasant liqueur made from kumquat fruits, with an aroma and taste that resemble oranges and strawberries and is exclusively produced on the island of Corfu." Though I haven't tasted it ... I can imagine being enveloped in flavours, fragrances, and colours of this magical island!
