I hadn’t made scones for years, I remembered from school that they were a bit difficult. Well they’re not! You need a little time for some stages, like mixing the flour, butter and sugar with your fingers to look like breadcrumbs...don’t try answering the phone at this point! This recipe makes cute little scones, about 24. I like them with margarine but maybe you’re a jam and cream person or perhaps you like the cheese variety. Each to their own! Why don’t you them a go.
