Growing up my mom would bake pumpkin pie with double the crust recipe just for me (I love crust; not so much the filling haha) I would anxiously await for the pie to cool enough so sneak a piece of the crust! Yum!! My house growing up was filled with Earth tones, plants, family paintings and macrame, which I wanted to include as well. This illustration brings me back to those wonderful days as a child!
