The idea of a picnic has a little nostalgic note for me. All that woven baskets, beautifully aged cutlery and woolen plaids make you think of old times and summer adventure stories. I was thinking—what snack would Mole and Rat from “Wind In the willows” have on their day at the river? Or three in the boat (with their dog)? And I can see them sitting on a riverbank, drinking hot coffee from the enamel mugs. Water floats lazily and the air is fresh and sweet scented. So many new places and faces are awaiting them! I would love to join them so much.
