The Aunty Ro in the picture is my alter ego - it's how I will be in about twenty years (ok, fifteen). The recipe is my own and is always demolished within a few minutes, and the figs somehow grow in my garden, which defies all the laws of nature, as anyone who has visited Galway will testify.
