Better known as Forgotten Cookies, this recipe takes some patience... and forgetfulness! Make them in the evening, forget all about them, and enjoy them the next day (maybe even sneak one for breakfast, we won't tell anyone)!

This recipe is something my mother would make for me when I was little in our very small kitchen. I would wait up all night sitting in front of the oven until my mother shooed me away and sent me off to bed. The wait was always worth it, though! These simple meringue-styled delicacies are something to behold and once you've had one, you'll want at least three more.
