Bio:

As an artist and freelance illustrator/designer, my favorite thing to do is drink coffee while I draw, paint or read. I have one husband, two daughters, and two cats, and I also teach computer graphics at FIDM, which keeps me pretty busy. I’ve worked in many fields over the course of my creative career, from Regional Visual Merchandising Manager at Macy’s to multimedia Art Director. My tastes are also eclectic, and I love to use a variety of media in my work: painting with gouache on paper, or acrylic paint on canvas, Apple Pencil and iPad Pro, Procreate, Photoshop and Illustrator. My work is influenced by pop culture from childhood, such as advertising illustrations, vintage Disney and the reruns of Max Fleischer cartoons I watched growing up. I have a BFA from University of Florida and am a member of The Society of Illustrators Los Angeles.
