Bio:

My name is Miriam Figueras and I am a freelance illustrator and graphic designer originally from Barcelona now based in Edinburgh. After almost ten years of agency and studio experience, I am taking the next step forward professionally as a freelancer and as an artist.
My work relies on my artistic capabilities and my designer resources. I passionately focus on capturing light, color and vibrance through detailed mixed media illustrations and paintings. Though subjects may vary, culinary references are a very important part of my body of work and life. Growing up, my house was ablaze with gastronomy, arts and crafts and classic films.
