I'm Lisa Fuller, an illustrator from Central California. I am inspired by things I love and am passionate about- from music, nature, film and food to travel, feminism and mental health.
Much of my process involves working with a variety of handmade textures I create with watercolors and acrylics to build a library of unique texture sheets. I also use much of my own photography to create textures that are used throughout my artwork.
Art is therapeutic and healing. I hope to touch others with the inspired images I create.

This burst of yum illustrates one of my great loves. A simple appetizer or snack for some is a perfectly proper happy meal for me. The creamy avocado with a punch of heat, coupled with the satisfying saltiness of a perfectly toasted chip. *runs for kitchen* 😋
Egg salad is one of those childhood food memories for me. I remember my grandma making it. She had a mustard yellow rotary chopper. She’d put the egg in and turn the crank and these perfect crumbles would come out. Her sandwiches were piled up with greens and tasty bread, so yummy. ☺️ I also loved Dr. Seuss books as a kid. This is a modern spin on egg salad with a bit of whimsy thrown in to pay tribute to some childhood faves.
I’m a broccoli lover and enjoy it many different ways from raw to sautéed to adorning this yummy pizza! Individually there are some amazing flavors here, but served all together on a crispy crust and you get a flavor explosion!
So much emphasis is based on who we are as a parent, spouse, friend, employee, etc. . We can often find ourselves run down, overwhelmed, and our energy depleted. My focus for this illustration is the importance of prioritizing ourselves. There are many things we can do to take that time to replenish, refuel, and relieve our minds and bodies of stress. In order to be our best for others, we must remember to take care of our own needs. This is a recipe for self love. Everyone's individual recipe is a bit different but it can be most simply stated as not placing yourself on the back burner!
Mason jars have become such a simple and easy way to serve up individual portions. Here’s an array of hot beverages and trifle desserts sure to tempt your holiday sweet tooth!
Are you an eggnog fan like me? I love it topped with a little whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Mmm! How about a delicious cranberry trifle! These desserts are often too pretty to eat and yet we still manage to make them disappear!
Do you love to make music in the kitchen? What are your favorite kitchen tools? Do you have certain staples in your pantry or spices you cook with more often than others? I enjoy cooking and wanted to create a countertop scene to honor some of the music we create in the kitchen. The heavy metal (grater, colander, can opener), the dynamic duo of oil & vinegar, the spice girls, you get the idea. ;) It was fun pulling these together and then creating sub illustrations that focused on different elements!
Root veggies are more than just amazing bursts of color and texture, they are also super beneficial to our bodies! Roots are some of the most nutrient-dense vegetables in the world. My FEAST collection focus is on the many ways they help us. They may look funky at times, but there are so many tasty ways to get them into our bellies!
