Bio:

People call me an artist and I call myself a poet.
I call my creation Colorful Poetry.
My self-taught work conveys that all of us are different and unique and we even hold plural different selves—colors and shapes—within us therefore addressing somebody different is meaningless and bullying is nonsense.

Picnic Under That Cherry Tree by Lenna Arty

My best picnic memory is the Bento box made by my mother when we went to see cherry blossoms. The best picnic season in Japan is spring when we can enjoy cherry blossoms. We bring Bento box filled with lots of goodies, sit under cherry trees, look at cherry blossoms, eat and talk. The Bento made by my mother was filled with Norimaki (sushi rolls), Karaage (garlic ginger fried chicken), Tako-san wiener (octopus-shaped grilled sausage), Usagi-ringo (rabbit shaped apples), Chikuwa-kyuri (fish sausage with cucumber) and many more. I miss those days but I can always go on a picnic if I close my eyes. I hope my drawing makes you smile especially if you miss your family.

Although I have never been to the Mediterranean or have never eaten mediterranean dish but I came up with this recipe after the quarantine started and just named Mediterranean Salad and my family loves it! I always dream to travel there and we say we can travel to the Mediterranean during lunchtime using our imagination while eating this fresh summer salad. Looking at my family's smiles makes me so happy and thankful.
