Autumn is the time for pumpkin in all shapes and forms. I love this classic soup recipe, the hint of chili and ginger gives it an extra warming touch. You can make this soup with many different kinds of pumpkin, but the more strong tasting ones work best!
Asparagus soup is one of my favorite parts of spring. Here in Germany we can choose between two variants of asparagus - green and white. You have to peel the white stalks entirely, but it's worth the time, they're absolutely delicious and make a creamy, flavourful soup.
This delicious salad is full of a variety of flavors despite the simple ingredients - there’s the slightly bitter green of the arugula, and the sweet and sour oranges. Sprinkled with almond halves (or any other nuts) it'll also have a nice crunch.
This is an absolute standard recipe in my kitchen, I make it at least once a week. You can combine potatoes with whatever veggies you have - it’s always a great combination of shapes, colors and flavors. Together with a dip and a green salad this is a quick tasty dish.
I'm a fan of making my own herbal teas with fresh herbs and spices like ginger, chamomile, peppermint, cinnamon or lemon balm. You can make pretty wild mixtures by combining several herbs, or look at store-bought teas for inspiration.
