My brother in law makes this cake for almost every family gathering, and I will cheat on any diet for it! The cake is a delicious, moist chocolate made with strong coffee, and cream cheese makes the peanut butter frosting extra rich. I made two of these cakes this year for my daughter's birthday. She loves it just as much as I do!

I created this illustration using a scan of my great grandmother's hand-written recipe for canned pickles. I've also incorporated my original oil pastel drawings on brown Kraft paper. Enjoy!

A wintery take on a traditional tabouleh, great to keep in the fridge for cloudy day lunches! Lemon, garlic, fennel and parsley give this healthy dish a zippy Mediterranean flavor. The artwork was created with colored pencil, ink, and oil pastel on brown Kraft paper.
