I'm a coffee and pastry, museum and theme park, basketball and music-loving artist, illustrator, and teacher in Bellevue, Washington. I live with my husband of 16 years, my two kids that I also homeschool (ages 12 and 9), and two silly gerbils, Star and Chip. With every spare minute, I'm painting, usually with watercolor, often using my favorite color, Ultramarine Turquoise.

Our family's longest-running Christmas tradition is to bake these prize-winning white chocolate cranberry bars. One year, my husband started calling it "Cramble" and the name stuck! Making paper chains, sawing down our chosen Christmas tree from the local tree farm, and keeping a countdown to Christmas written on our big family chalkboard are just a few other traditions we treasure that made their way into this illustrated recipe.
