Gina LentoPort St Lucie, FL, US
Port St Lucie based Fine Artist/Illustrator born and raised in the Philadelphia Region. I have been drawing since I was in the 7th grade. I am very fortunate to have grown up and be educated in Philly, a city rich in the arts.
I enjoy sketching the world around me but I especially enjoy illustration. It’s something I have always wanted to do. My childhood heroes were illustrators like Norman Rockwell, Wesley Dennis, Beatrix Potter and CW Anderson. I love creating a visual imaginary place or story. You can find my sketches and creations on Facebook, Twitter, SKTCHY, Instagram and Tumblr.

Our Thanksgiving menu of 2020 barely resembles the 1621 celebration in Plymouth MA. Turkey may have been on the menu, but shellfish, lobster, fish, eels, venison, and various ‘fowl’ were more likely on the menu for the first Thanksgiving feast. I wanted to portray the foods that were most likely to be eaten on that first celebration. For more information about Plymouth, go to www.Plimoth.org
This summer we have had a tremendous amount of zucchini growing in our garden. Several were larger than our two Chihuahuas! The cherry tomatoes in our garden have also gone beserk, so this is a good recipe for using both. We also like it because you are getting your veggies first thing in the morning. We have made this several times this summer.
I took Koosje's Sketchbook Skool Kourse "Draw it Like it's Hot" and here is my submission!

I live on Long Island now and although there are plenty of places here to get great pizza, no one has tomato pies like Tony's. So I have to make it myself or drive 2 and half hours to get there. This is my version....
