This fresh and citrusy cranberry sauce is a must-have with turkey or perfect as a Christmas feast side dish. Not only is it delicious and super simple to make, it's also incredibly versatile!
Here are some great ways to add cranberry sauce to other dishes:
• Spread on a turkey sandwich (a given).
• Peanut butter and cranberry sandwich.
• Add a little cranberry sauce with red wine vinegar and olive oil for a tangy vinaigrette.
• A perfect glaze for meat or seafood, thinned down with a bit of juice.
• Add some cranberry sauce to your plain yogurt or oatmeal.
• Drizzle some warm cranberry sauce on a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
• Add some juice and heat for a nice syrup on your French toast or pancakes.
Be sure to make extra for leftovers so you can continue to enjoy cranberry sauce in many creative ways!
Winter is just around the corner and some of my favorite winter fruit is fresh citrus. The oranges (including mandarines and tangarines) are so juicy and sweet and the lemons are tangy and zesty. They are great in recipes but I especially love the colorful combination of oranges and lemons together. The burst of vibrant yellow and orange look fantastic on a tablescape. I've combined them with the contrast of blue and white plates on a deep blue tablecloth for a real punch of color!

This fun design was painted with love and watercolor!
Autumn is a time of change...the weather is cooler, the days are shorter, the leaves put on quite a show and there is an abundance of beautiful fall produce! It seems to be a time of nesting at home with family and friends and feeling gratitude for the little things in life!
I am so grateful to paint and design...this is a combo of watercolor and gouache, enjoy!
Artichokes are so delicious and beautiful! They are one of my favorite vegetables and I love how they have the word "art" in them. They certainly are fun to paint (I painted this one with acryla gouache)!
Artichoke Fun Facts:
Artichokes are a type of thistle with a blooming edible flower. They are one of the oldest cultivated vegetables. They appeared in the 5th century BC in the Mediterranean and spread throughout Italy. The Dutch introduced them to England and the French brought them to Louisiana. The Italian immigrants brought them to California, where they are harvested in the spring and fall. Yay, I get to eat them (almost) whenever I want!
