The cornmeal cake is one of the typical sweets we eat for the café da tarde in Brazil. Café da tarde (afternoon coffee) is like the English tea time. In the middle of the afternoon we have a coffee with some bread, sweets, etc. It's a moment where we sit down and enjoy a bit of relaxing time with family and friends. It's by far my favorite meal of the day that's why it's part of the illustration.
