Bob T. PandaLangley, Washington, US
Anne Belov has been drawing and painting since the time she could hold a crayon. After receiving a BFA from The Philadelphia College of Art, she moved west and, since she didn’t learn everything the first time, went to art school again, receiving an MFA in painting from the University of Washington. She now makes her home on Whidbey Island. After many years of being a serious painter, pandas crossed her path in 2007 and nothing has been the same since then. Her panda satire can be found on her blog, Your Brain on Pandas: The Panda Chronicles. Her favorite food group is frosting, and her alter ego, Bob T Panda, claims that cuppycakes comprise a balanced diet, particularly if you have one in each hand. Her main regret in life is that there is no MacArthur Foundation Grant in the field of panda satire. To her knowledge, there are no pandas in her backyard.
