My daughter Matilde and the Internation school of Illustration S. Zavrel drastically changed my life in better in 2009.
I left a permanent job as biologist near Milan to follow my dreams and study children’s illustration.
In 2012 and 2017 I was selected for the "Le immagini della fantasia", International Exhibition of Illustrations for Children and published some works in the book “Sulle Orme dei Folletti.” One of my illustrations was awarded at the 2017 contest "Diritti a colori"
In 2014 Helbling and Languages published my first book "The big wave."
I also draw illustrations for magazine covers and for wallpapers.

I'm not Japanese and I've never BEAN in Japan (even if it's in my dreams), but when I thought about beans it came immediately to my mind the movie "Sweet bean" because of the unique relationship between Ms. Toku (the main character) and the beans. She treated the adzuki beans for her dorayaki with love and respect, that's why her anko (the red bean paste) was so delicious!
