Bio:

Hello there!

I grew up in Kansas City, and received my BFA from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) in 2013. I was born into a family who taught me the best way to enjoy life is through food, and I try to stay true to that as much as possible. I'm obsessed with intriguing ingredient combinations, a sour-candy enthusiast, and a new experience aficionado.

I appreciate you stopping by!

I've been making this colorful salsa every summer for the past 3 years, and I can't stop. The flavors add a great kick to whatever dish you want to add it to-- chips, tacos, black-bean bowls, salmon.. anything!

Salty, sour & sweet- this recipe has it all! It's summer and figs are in season. This simple crostini is great because you get to plan how much of each ingredient you want based on your own taste level. But trust me, you definitely want to have a good amount of each in every bite. Enjoy!

This is a traditional Iranian soup, Ash-e-anaar (aw-sh eh ann-are). Ash is a traditionally hardy soup common amongst Iranians- Ash-e-anaar, however! Is the same traditional soup combined with Pomegrante Paste. The reason I love this particular recipe so much is because my mother combines the traditional Ash recipe and the traditional Ash-e-anaar recipe and then adds her own twist to it.
