I love baking and recently came up with this recipe for oatmeal-raisin cookies. They are really easy to make, and don't hesitate to experiment with the ingredients a bit by adding nuts, cranberries or whatever you like!
Illustrating my recipes has become almost a habit by now, I remember them by illustrating them :)
Despite the name, this recipe is made in the Schwartzkopf family home as a Christmas cookie. Every batch incites a competition between cousins, aunts, and uncles to see who can eat the most before they’re all gone. They go great with tea and your morning reading, so please try them!
I'm in love with this granola recipe because it turns one's kitchen into a sweet, herb-y aroma heaven. Adding a bit of rosemary/sage to the recipe lineup gives this chunky treat a little flavor depth and works great as a topping on just about everything (smoothies, yogurt, ice-cream, crumble). As always, be generous with the salt ;-)
Imagine if you could turn banana bread into a cookie...sounds delicious right? Well, no need to imagine any more! Visits to Harold and Martha's house were always punctuated by hours of board-game fun and a plate of these cookies. I might have also snuck one for breakfast a time or two...you'll understand after giving this recipe a try!
